Fruits of your contribution

Have you ever wondered how your donations support our parish? Of course, the usual expenses are paid: heat, electricity, water, supplies, and salaries. But so much else is accomplished because you make it possible.

Between 2023 and 2025, our church completed the following projects to keep us up and running.

Church, Rectory Office, & Rectory

The front façade was repaired and recoated.
Front steps were repaired and recoated.
The north stairs were repaired and recoated.
South stairs were repaired and recoated.
The south elevation was further investigated with repairs to some areas.
Rose window and stained-glass windows were recaulked.
Front doors were re-stained.
Bell tower lights were replaced.
The organ was refurbished.
A new state-of-the-art sound system was installed in the church. (Love One Another helped with this cost.)
Replacement of over half of the bulbs and some ballasts in the ceiling fixtures in DeSimone Hall.
Security lights, dust-to-dawn sensors, and astronomical switches were installed.
A new electrical panel was installed in the Rectory basement.*

School Building

Replacement of the broken floor drain in the kitchen.
Replacement of the Terrazzo flooring in the kitchen.*
New plumbing disconnects for all kitchen fixtures associated with the broken drain pipe scope of work.*
Proper electrical wiring for some of the equipment in the kitchen, associated with the broken drain pipe scope of work.*
Replacement of all the ceiling fixture bulbs and sleeves.
Installation of new electrical outlets for school lunch equipment.
All aluminum story front doors have been inspected, maintained, and nonfunctioning parts replaced several times.
Doors at entry #2 replaced.
Cleaning out the drain trap in the janitor's closet.
Replacement of the aluminum double doors inside the breezeway at entrance #3, associated with the broken drain pipe scope of work.*
Cleaning of the entire kitchen at the 11th hour prior to school starting.
Door #4 was repaired.
Crushed downspouts at the north canopy were replaced with new PVC piping.
The stage floor was resurfaced.*
Ductwork to the unit heaters in the gym was cleaned.
All of the thermostats were calibrated.
Steam boilers.
- Were cleaned.
- New traps installed.
- New check valves were installed.
- Numerous boiler system repairs in various rooms.
Soundproofing panels were added to the gym.**
Exterior and vestibule light fixtures were repaired with dusk-to-dawn sensors, and astronomical switches were added for security.
Exterior wall pack lights have been repaired.
New trench drain covers by entrance #3.
Lower-level AC in the convent building was replaced.**
Dehumidifier added in the convent basement.

Grounds:

Trees, shrubs, and bushes were either removed, trimmed up, cleaned out, or cut away from the building to provide enhanced visual protection.
Overgrown bushes in front of the convent building were removed and replaced with new ones.
New mulch was installed.
Trip hazards in the parking lot were milled down and patched.
Parking lot lines and playground lines have been repainted.
A new concrete driveway was installed on 45th Street.
Old electrical pits were removed and replaced with new ones.
The gas meter was moved outside.**
New underground gas lines and new meters were installed.**
New electrical service in the boiler room and piped to the school.
No trespassing signs were installed.
Burned-out parking lot light fixtures were replaced.
New electrical outlets were installed along the exterior walls for the festival.
New electrical cords were provided for the festival.
West lawn repairs.
